When you go grocery shopping work the perimeter. virtually everything you need is along the outer aisles, such as produce, fish, meat, and dairy products.
going down every aisle, glance at the overhead signs to locate healthy items like canned tuna fish, oatmeal, olive oil.
Leave the cart at one end and walk down the aisle. That way you avoid being tempted by cake mixes, cookies, chips, and sot drinks. and as a bonus, you'll save time.
