MARATHON IS 26.2 MILES
StartsTuesday 1/17/2012
The Rules are simple
 
1.  REGISTER WITH (Major or Health & safety).
2.  Complete fitness assessment and signed waiver.
3.  Each participant will be assigned a HEALTH & SAFETY PEDOMETER.
4.  The average person's stride length is approximately 2.5 feet long. That means it takes just over 2,000 steps to walk one mile, and 10,000 steps is close to 5 miles.
 
5.  That's roughly about 55,000 steps give or take a step.
6.  The first male and female to complete the marathon this week will be crown the WINNER!
7.  The only steps that will be counted are the steps at work, (brewery or fitness room treadmill).
8.  I will record everyones steps each day.
9.  You must bring your pedometer to the fitness room to be recorded.
10.  So get up and MOVE!!!

Major, Just wanted to thank you for developing a program to help strengthen my lower back. In the 8 weeks I've been in your program I've already had noticeable improvements in my overall strength. I have disk degeneration and I've also seen improvements in my lower back stiffness, pain and the tingling & pain in my left leg. The only other thing I think I could do to help my lower back would be to use an ergonomic chair or ball for work. Since my job mandates I sit at my computer the majority of the day, my back becomes stiff and achy. I try to use proper posture techniques but most office chairs sometimes make this difficult unless I sit on the very edge of the chair. Thanks again for your help..

Patty, I believe that Tammie Spence had one of those ergonomic ball chairs. She may have the ordering information that you can give to Jackie. I also spend alot of time at an office chair and it is very important to have one that provides adequate support. Chairs like most things that get used they do not last forever.
