Some co-workers of mine went on a 21 day cleanse, and lost quire a bit of weight so I did some research and discovered that most of the time they want you not to eat protein and they advise you not to lift weights - only walk. And cut out coffee too!? Well, I like coffee and I like to lift weights. What are your thoughts?

PEB, I'm going to do my own modified version of the 21 day Lemonade detox,
Beginning This Monday July 9th.
My Ease in method day 1-5
Day 1: Vegetables, Fruits, nuts, fish, eggs
Major Fitness "Eat a rainbow often/Lemonade detox" eliminate all white and breads & flour, fast foods, processed sugars, white rice, alcohol, pastas, processed foods, fried food. lunch meats cured or smoked.
Vegetables:eat a half cup per serving this is a good time to try different kinds of veggies, more vegetables thanFruit, I prefer to eat most of mines raw.
First timers planning is key. I would recommend that you give your body the time it needs to get ready for the detox process 1-5 days ease into the process. this will allow your body to adjust to the change. It's important allow your body to adjust to any new exercise or dietary change.

Cayenne pepperThe Power of Capsaicin
Capsaicin is an active compound found in Cayennepepper. It accounts for the heat we taste and feel in our mouths when we use it to spice foods. If a lot of Cayennepepper is used in foods, endorphins are released. So, the Capsaicin in the Cayenne pepper actually helps release endorphins that make us feel positive and energetic during our cleanse.

Although maple syrup is high in calories; the right amount will perform as perfect daily energy. It will allow you to remain focused and energetic during your cleanse. It is also sweet, flavorful, and delicious.
It is important that you purchase the correct type of maple syrup for your mixture.
The wrong type of maple Syrup will not yield positive results.
Start by taking a fresh, ripe, lemon roll the lemon on the counter or cutting board. This will loosen the fibers and juice inside. Squeeze 2 tablespoons of the lemon (about half of the lemon) into a large cup. Measure 2 tablespoons of the pure maple syrup, 1/10 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, and 1-2 cups of spring or purified water.
Mix well with a spoon and drink immediately. Do not premix your mixture because it will lose the live enzymes that are essential to this detox. Drink about 10 servings of this lemonade throughout the day. Remember to drink plenty of water throughout the day as well.
I'm a corporate personal trainer and I run "Better Sweaty than Dead boot camps" 3 days a week along with a "kids fit camp", I need my protein, so I've decided to eat only baked fish or tuna, eggs, almonds, and eat fresh or frozen vegetables & fruit as much as possible
I prefer to eat not drink my calories and use real food. I will use extra virgin olive oils and flax seed oil and 1-2 servings of lentils a day more than wild brown rice.
I have a confession to make, I love coffee so during the detox my plan is to wean myself off by switching to, decaf, and finally green tea decaf of course. There I said it.... I feel better now.
