About a week ago I had the pleasure of meeting Mark while he was on vacation. Mark is as passionate about nutrition as I am about fitness.
WELCOME ABOARD MARK!
Mark has harbored a growing interest in nutrition since he relocated to Colorado over ten years ago. While spending six months hiking all 2,175 miles of the Appalachian Trail, Mark lost 20 pounds. Although lean and extremely fit, Mark’s energy levels soon declined. Exercise proved to be only part of the equation, Mark looked to nutrition to fuel his active body. With a clear focus Mark enrolled at Colorado State University, where he gained evidence based knowledge and expertise while earning a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food Science. Today, Mark has continued his active lifestyle rock climbing, mountain biking, and hiking.
Through an optimally balanced diet Mark has recently submitted all of Colorado’s 14,000 foot peaks, over 50 in all, estimated at over 200,000 vertical feet gained.
Mark’s use of balance between optimal nutrition and exercise has significantly increased his energy and focus, while reducing his recovery time. He desires to continually educate himself in all matters of nutrition, meal planning, weight training, meditation and yoga.
Mark’s effective methods of using nutrient dense foods offer easy, flexible, and nutritious options to time starved individuals and families.
He is constantly proving that eating healthy is affordable. Mark will fine tune your individual eating habits to develop a comprehensive, nutritional and creative eating strategy that you are sure to enjoy.
